This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit leadingpresales.com, why, and the rights you have. We keep data collection to a minimum: there are no user accounts, no newsletter, no tracking cookies, and no advertising.

2. Hosting & server log files

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA), acting as our processor. When you access the site, your browser necessarily transmits data that the server records in log files: your IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, your browser type and operating system. This is required to deliver the site securely and reliably. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Because Vercel is based in the USA, data may be transferred there; the transfer is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses under Vercel's data processing agreement. The connection is encrypted via TLS (HTTPS).

3. Web analytics (cookieless)

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used — e.g. page views, referrer source, approximate country, and device type. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it does not set cookies, does not create cross-site profiles, and does not identify individual visitors. We also record anonymous “download” events when a PDF is downloaded. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our content (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising, which is why you see no cookie banner. Your browser may store strictly technical data on its own, but we do not set cookies for these purposes.

5. Fonts

Our typeface is hosted on our own server and loaded directly from it. No font data is requested from third-party services such as Google Fonts, so no personal data is shared with font providers.

6. Podcast audio

Episode audio is hosted by our podcast host, Podigee GmbH (Germany). When you play an episode on the site, the audio file is requested from Podigee, which processes your IP address to deliver the file and to measure downloads to the IAB standard. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing and measuring the podcast (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Podigee's privacy information.

7. Contacting us

If you email us, we process the data you provide (your email address and message content) solely to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We delete such correspondence once it is no longer needed and no legal retention periods apply.

8. External links & services

The site links to external services we do not control, including the booking tool Calendly, podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts), LinkedIn, and serockstars.com. If you follow these links and use those services, the respective provider's privacy policy applies. We only process your data on those services once you actively choose to use them.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability, as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address above.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority competent for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany).
